So now that you found us, who are we? We are Greg and Deanna Chase, a husband and wife team, that decided to hit the road in February of 2003. We sold our house, quit our jobs, bought a RV and the traveled  around the US, working as full time lampwork glass artists as we went. We recently, In Aug of 2007, settled into a house in South East Louisiana.  Thank you so much to all of our wonderful customers, who continue to support us, and allow us to continue pursuing our art.
A bit about Greg:
Greg has been an artist most of his life. He graduated from San Jose State University with a degree in ceramics. He then spent two years in Ghana, Africa with the Peace Corps. While he was there he worked with the University ceramics department and with local village potters. Since then Greg has worked in plexi glass, wood, and stained glass. Currently his passion is hot glass, making lampwork beads and marbles.
A bit about Deanna:
Deanna grew up as an athlete (volleyball and basketball), never really being exposed to this type of art. She graduated from Hayward State University in 1999, with a degree in Psychology. She worked for 4 1/2 years as a manager at Jamba Juice, before she and Greg started their new adventure. Now in addition to being addicted to lampworking, she runs the business she and Greg share.
FAQ's Below

If you live in an RV, where do you do your torch work? TOP
We torch right in our RV on the passengers side of the coach.  When we are stopped at a place for more than a week or so we set up our studio.  It consists of a 3 foot board that sits right on the dash.  On the board we put our kiln and hook up your torch and lay out all the glass and we are good to go.

How do you get your mail? TOP
We have a "home base" in Texas.  Actually it is an RV park and organization, that forwards our mail.   So all of it goes to our Texas address and we have it forwarded to where ever we are.  We usually forward it once a week or so.  It can take up to two weeks for our mail to reach us.

How do you decide where to go? TOP

Actually we just pull out the map periodically and choose a route of places we would like to see.  We usually only really plan about six months in advance.

Do you do shows? TOP
Actually no.  The only show we have done is the ISGB gathering Bead Bazzar.  We sell all of our work via this site and ebay mostly.

Do you made your beads into jewelry? TOP
No, not usually.  Usually we leave that up to the designers.  If you would like to have something made into jewelry you can contact Deanna at Deanna@chase-designs.com and she will let you know if she can do it and a price quote.  She has made bracelets, earrings, and pendants in the past.

How do we contact you? TOP

Phone: (925) 586-3554
I usually check my email several times a day.  It is the best way to get in touch with me.

Do you do custom work? TOP
Not usually.  You can always ask, but you may not like the answer.  LOL, actually you just never know.  It depends on our mood usually and if the request is something that interests us.

What kind of payments do you accept? TOP
We accept Paypal, Visa, MC, Discover, American Express.  We also take money orders and checks, however since we travel full time it does take about two weeks or so for them to catch up with us.  We ship when payment is received.
